As part of Mother's Day this year, we are featuring Esther Kagwiria, a mother of three and an Exhibitions Manager at the Sarit Expo Centre. We will be featuring her career in events- which has included private audiences, international and local exhibitions, galas, and many events!
Why did you pursue a career in the events industry and what do you enjoy about it?
Esther's career in events spans ten years and she is passionate about delivering meaningful and engaging experiences for clients: "My career at Sarit Expo Centre is unmatched. Working with various people to deliver an unexceptional event involves a lot of planning, preparation, attention to details, and overall fineness in order to deliver a lifetime experience".
"One of my highlights for me was planning and executing the Kenya International Industrial Expo (KIIE) that involved 50% hybrid and 50% in person attendance. There is no way I would have experienced such an impeccable exhibition if it was not for my job. It is something I will never forget".
"Working with a diverse range of clients has given me fantastic insight into the value events deliver. There is a real sense of connection and engagement, whether it is a company conference, trade show, concert, gala, or exhibition. Being in this industry is all about creating memorable person-to-person experiences, which is what we thrive on as human beings".

Esther works closely with clients to ensure their events are successfully executed. She is responsible for bringing out the best in all events and thus placing Sarit Expo Centre as a premier venue for exhibitions, gala banquets, cocktail functions, conventions, weddings, and private and corporate functions.
