KCDF invites you to our second edition of the KCDF Art Exhibition, themed "Our Communities - Art for Changeā. The exhibition will be held at The Sarit Expo Centre, Cherengani Hall on the 2nd floor of Sarit Centre, Westlands, Nairobi from 29th July to 5th August 2023.
This event aims to showcase local artistic talent and raise resources for KCDF's Pamoja4Change program, which supports community projects using a shilling-for-a-shilling model. Every shilling raised will be matched, enabling communities to implement priority projects and promote self-reliance through local resource mobilization.
By contributing their own resources, communities foster self-reliance and ownership, building confidence in addressing development challenges. Through this model, KCDF and communities have successfully implemented over 200 projects, raising over Kes 160M in the last eleven years.
We are honored to present renowned artists who have generously pledged to donate 50% of the total sales from their artworks towards this cause.
Can't make it to the physical exhibition? Don't worry! KCDF will also host an online Art Exhibition gallery throughout the entire month of August 2023 which will be live on this website.
